Currently, there is a “foreclosure crisis” because of the economy and because of Government regulations. Connecticut is, in general, doing better than average and Bethel is in even better shape.
Congress and Connecticut state law makers again placed their fingers into the housing market without knowing what they are doing. The federal government is adding all kinds of rules and regulations that hinder our economic recovery. Washington’s must stop erecting these roadblocks to success and should get out of the way of our nation’s recovery.
Congress and Connecticut state law makers have conveniently pushed off their “day of reckoning” by making a foreclosure action take longer. This hurts us all because the foreclosures have not been halted, they will still occur…and a balloon of bad debt is growing above our heads that will burst soon.
